This contemporary house features sustainable Moso bamboo rainscreen cladding and large expanses of glass. The durable bamboo planks are floated above the roof membrane creating a stunning and unique visual appeal. Large, oversized sliding doors open the living room area to landscaping featuring Corten steel planters. Protruding window dormers and inset elements are clad in dark Zink panels. Bamboo lattice overhangs and screens provide shading and privacy seamlessly integrated with the cladding. A car port is connected to the house via a covered path both featuring custom steel clevis tension rods.

Carefully designed lighting inside and out integrates the exterior and interior spaces. A geothermal energy plant is one of many sustainable design strategies utilized throughout this project.
